Obv : Diademed head right. C/M anchor

Rev : ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΤΑΡΚΟΝΔΙΜΟΤΟΥ ΦΙΛΑΝΤΩΝΙΟΥ.

Zeus seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike and sceptre.

RPC I online 3871; SNG BN 1913-1916; SNG Levante 1257-1258.

Condition :  very fine.

Tarkondimotos was an ally first of Pompey, then of Caesar and later of Marc Antony, to whom the title ΦIΛANTΩNIOY ("friend of Antonius" refers). He died in the battle of Actium, fighting Agrippa and Octavian.
