In 1919 the Dutch Royal Mint produced a set of seven good quality reproductions of “Biblical Coins” (“Bijbelsche Munten”). They were intended for use in schools. The group included a gold Daric, an Antiochene Tetradrachm of Augustus, a denarius of Tiberius, an Assarion of Chios, a Quadrans of the Roman Republic, Jewish War Shekel and a Herod the Great Lepton.
