Bareheaded and draped bust right / TELLVS STABIL, Tellus reclining left, placing hand on globe and holding vine branch, leaning elbow on basket. RIC II 835. Fine, Scarce type. This interesting type lauds the peace and prosperity that the rule of Hadrian has brought to the world (tellus stabilita = “stable earth” ).
