EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Tetradrachm (Billon, 25,5 mm, 12,97 g), RY 10 = 125/6. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ CЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. L ΔEΚΑΤΟΥ Agathodaemon serpent, on the left, to right, wearing skhent crown, with grain ears in its coils, and Uraeus, on the right, to left, wearing solar disk and horns, with poppies in its coils. Dattari (Savio) 1549. Emmett 804.10. K&G 32.335. RPC III 5596. A lovely toned coin with a beautiful reverse. Very fine.
