Gordian III- sestertius SECVRIT PERP beauty! (AU2366)

Sestertius 243-244, Æ 22.35 g. 31 mm IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. SECVRIT PERPET S – C Securitas standing l., holding sceptre and resting l. elbow on column C 329. RIC 335a. Dark brown tone and almost extremely fine 

Gordian III as a young man with the beginnings of a short beard and moustache. I have found his issues with a beard to be rarer, they appear only towards the end of his reign
