ATTICA. Athens. Circa 454-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24.5 mm, 16.35 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, with frontal eye, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. AΘE Owl standing to right, head facing; in field to left, olive spray and crescent; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. test cut on reverse, otherwise, very fine.
