Scarce. An interesting issue; very popular type. This interesting series of coins were struck in the early 2nd century AD in commemoration of the mines that supplied the Roman mint. Many believe the coins were struck at Rome, but there is another school of thought that believes they were minted near the mines (in Dalmatia, Noricum, Pannonia, and Moesia) themselves. Their function is unknown, and they enjoy great popularity among collectors
