Roman Imperial. Probus. Rome. AD 276-282. Bronze Antoninianus. (22 mm. 3,3 g.). IMP PROBVS AVG, radiate bust of Probus to left, wearing imperial mantle, holding eagle-tipped sceptre. Rev. ROMAE AETER, hexastyle temple with Roma seated within, holding Victory and sceptre. Mintmark R crescent B. RIC 185. From the Temple collection. Extremely fine, with hint of silver and striking weakness.
