From the temple collection. Very rare. MESOPOTAMIA, Nisibis. Philip I (AD 244–249). AE bronze, 13,34 g. 25mm
Obverse: ΑΥΤΟΚ Κ Μ ΙΟΥΛΙ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC CΕΒ, laureate and cuirassed bust left, wearing balteus, holding a shield before the shoulder, decorated with a gorgoneion.
Reverse: ΙΟΥ CΕΠ ΚΟΛΩ ΝΕCΙΒΙ ΜΗΤ, temple with arched pediment and four twisted columns enclosing Tyche, draped, veiled, and turreted, seated facing; above her, a ram leaping right (symbol of Aries). Below, a river god swimming right.
