The reverse records the victory in Gaul of Cn. Domitius Ahenobarbus and Quintus Fabius Maximus over the Allobroges and their ally Bituitus, king of the Averni, who was shortly afterwards taken prisoner and figured in Rome in his own chariot of silver at the triumph of Fabius and Ahenobarbus.
